Statement:
Even though we are filmmakers, this film began as a way to just have a highlight reel of our son’s first year as a starter in pee wee football. As the season progressed, we discovered the dedication, heart, and soul that these volunteer coaches pour into the kids. We realized mid-way through the season that we may have a documentary on our hands. This film was solely created by a husband and wife creative team who had a vision to tell a story based on the footage we captured. We had to truly be flies on the wall to avoid any distractions since we were following 10 & 11-year olds in their real life. (This meant no crew, and capturing sound from a distance at times!) We have so much love for the coaches, parents, and team who allowed us to follow them for 3 months.
