Our Story: Hey there, we are Kelsie Key and Brey Browne, the duo behind Something from Nothing Productions, a creative and production company in Fort Worth, Texas. We are a married couple, and in true filmmaker fashion, we met on a film set.
Together, we have launched a variety of successful branding campaigns and produced our debut documentary short film, "Bearcats: We’re Still Here," which premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival in 2024. Dedicated to creating impactful content, we specialize in creative branding & storytelling, content creation, and advertising, always finding innovative ways to tell stories.

Meet the Founders
Kelsie Key-Browne: Co-Founder / Head of Creative
Kelsie has a rich background in film and multimedia production. She has spent over a decade in the industry, developing a keen eye and a sharp sense for effective storytelling. Before co-founding SFN Productions, Kelsie worked in the Film and Television Industry, working her way from Production Assistant to Producer. She would later go on to serve as the Creative Director at a renowned film festival, where she honed her skills in managing diverse creative projects from inception to completion. Kelsie credits being raised in Memphis, TN for brewing her love of music, film, & art. She became a still photographer at a young age, shooting her first wedding at only 15-years old. She believes that her parents sharing oldies tunes and classic films with her at a young age, helped her become a true storyteller at heart. Kelsie's journey in filmmaking is driven by a passion for connecting people through stories that leave a lasting impact.
Brey Browne: Co-Founder / Head of Production
With a robust background in filmmaking and video editing, Brey Browne complements SFN Productions in many ways. A graduate of UTRGV with a degree in communications, Brey has worked extensively both behind and in front of the camera, crafting compelling content across various media platforms. His expertise lies in capturing the essence of a moment and weaving it into a larger narrative. His attention to detail and knowledge of the technical aspects of filmmaking ensure that every project is executed flawlessly. From the initial spark of an idea to the final touches of post-production, Brey enjoys every step. He has experience with narrative, commercial, documentary, reality, and live events. For Brey, it's not just about the films; it's about the people and the connections made along the way. Family is at the core of his world, and his creative drive stems from the simple joy of making something out of nothing.
